Clay Matthews - rookie of the year?

He's been named rookie of the week twice and is NFC defensive player of the week for his efforts against Baltimore. He's got to be on the short list of candidates for rookie of the year. I would think the others would be Harvin and Moreno - not sure who else would warrant consideration.

TCU plays Boise....Wow, I can't imagine how pissed I would be to be a TCU or BSU fan. Those programs have years like that to face another non-BCS team in a BCS bowl. Let them get the chance to prove they can bet the so called "big dogs". I'd put money on TCU being the best team in Texas.

This whole bowl thing is a joke. There needs to be a playoff. Even for Wisconsin, what we go to the same bowls over and over now. Make it exciting. Even if we had won every game...

Saints and Colts Dillemma

So what would you do if you are the Saints or Colts? The 'experts' on ESPN are saying how they should sit the starters and going 16-0 ain't worth a possible injury.

The Saints may be forced to 'try' every game with the Vikings possibly on their tail but the Colts should be able to breeze to home field advantage.

Personally I say play every game the same, like Lombardi says- Losing is contagious. Losing is ALWAYS a bad thing. Plus you risk losing your...

I'm pretty excited for the Titans/Colts game. I'm hoping Chris Johnson will have a big game and get on pace for a record breaking season (he's not quite there yet, although he is ahead of where Eric Dickerson was through 11 games back in 1984. To me this is a case of the stats not telling the whole story. He is #2 all time behind Rod Woodson in INTs for a TD an #9 all time in interceptions. Frankly, I think he gave up as many yards/TDs as he prevented since he took so many risks but what do others think?
